The Taiwan Manufacturing and Service Center offers new spindles and milling head solutions, and full-service third party repair to original or better specifications. Setco Taiwan was established strategically in 2005 to provide customer focused spindle and milling head solutions for the expanding Asian markets. Setco Taiwan currently provides solutions to a global network of customers.
Comprehensive 78,000 sq. ft. Manufacturing and Service Center – The temperature-controlled facility includes a machine shop, quality control, new spindle and milling head manufacturing, complete spindle repair facilities, and various test and runoff stands.
Extensive Repair Capabilities – Our experienced technicians provide prompt repair for any size machine tool spindle or other high precision rotating devices that incorporate ball, roller, taper bore, and various types of hydrostatic bearings. Full in-house machining operations provide one-source capability to repair or totally remanufacture your spindle. It is the official repair center for Setco, Pope, Whitnon and Neo spindles and milling heads. We specialize in the repair of Kessler and Weiss spindles.
Complete Testing Equipment – A comprehensive range of power supplies, chillers and lubricators permit runoff and testing for all makes and models of repaired spindles under simulated operating conditions.
